Infatuation is more like a pondering of what is going to happen if you do end up hooking up and/or falling in love with your partner.

When you’re in love with somebody, you would be willing to do anything for them, even die. Have you ever heard love songs like Bryan Adams "Anything I’d Do I’d Do It For You". Bryan would sing all of the things he would do for his love of his life, "I’d fight for you" etc. This is finished when he sings "I’d die for you".
4. You’ll Sort Things Out
When you’re in love with somebody you want to sort out your problesm with them, no matter what. Being in love means you’re willing to work out your problems with your partner. This are the big relationship problems like becoming a stepmom or stepdad, cheating on your partner etc.
5. You Get A Rush
When you’re in love with somebody you get a rush just being around them. Sometimes you can hardly breath when you’re around somebody you’re in love with. You see your partner all the time. Your first kiss was a major rush.

Love can be viewed from a psychologists point of view using the love triangle. The three key aspects of the triangle are physical, emotional and choice.

7. Obsession
Being in love means being obsessed by the person. Obsession means you lose focus of everything else in the world that would usually mean something to you. You will find yourself wanting to think about the person you are in love with a whole lot more.
8. Soulmates
It is usually thought of love that you can only be in love with one person at a time. This person will be your soulmate. It is very difficult to have that feeling of love with more than one person at the same time, although possible if you are a true ladies man.
9. True Love Never Dies
When you’re in love with somebody the feeling of love will never ever end. While it may subside to the point of not being fulfilling or feeling as good as what it once did, when you’re in love with somebody there will always be a piece of your heart dedicated to this person for the rest of your life.
10. Desire Is Not Love
Love is not to be confused with desire. Desire is want of more and is insatiable. You cannot fulfil your desire for anything, in a romantic sense. Love is different from desire, because love is joy for your lover and contentment with that person.
